The town lives from the sea: diving, sailing, boat trips to the Medes and a beach that runs for several kilometres towards the mouth of the Ter. It has shops and restaurants, and the Camí de Ronda coastal path leads to the coves of the Montgrí.

There are plenty of apartments, with sea views or a stone’s throw from the beach, houses on the residential estates up on the hillside and a few village houses. Prices here are more affordable than in other parts of the coast.
