Here the sea sets the pace. You walk down to the beach, swim out to the rocks and eat right by the water. Outside the summer Tamariu is a very quiet place, and the Camí de Ronda coastal path runs through the pines to Aigua Xelida and Llafranc.

Almost everything is detached houses with gardens in the pine woods around the cove, many with sea views, and a few apartments near the beach. Demand is high and very little changes hands.
