Life revolves around the promenade and the beach, with restaurants, ice-cream parlours and the harbour. From the village you can walk up to the lighthouse and the Sant Sebastià hermitage, with one of the best views on the coast, and the Camí de Ronda coastal path takes you to Calella in twenty minutes on foot.
Most properties are apartments with views over the bay, houses on the slopes that climb towards the lighthouse and a few villas with pools on the surrounding residential estates. It is a second-home market, with buyers from Barcelona, France and northern Europe.
