The Gothic quarter, with the Torre de les Hores and its stone streets, is the heart of Pals. Around it lie rice fields and golf courses and, towards the sea, the long beach of Pals, open and lined with dunes. It’s a quiet municipality, with basic services and good connections to Begur, Torroella and Palafrugell.
There are stone houses in the old town, farmhouses and country houses on the plain, villas on the estates near the golf courses and apartments by the beach. Plenty of variety, at prices somewhat more modest than in Begur.
